~ Words Worth Remembering ~

Hello Friends!

I’m in love.   I have butterflies in my stomach.   I can’t sleep.   I can’t eat.   Ok, well, maybe I can eat :).   I’m in love with the new Websters Pages Lullaby Lane and Life’s Portrait papers.   The moment I laid eyes on these beauties, they inspired me.   They are so romantic and sweet.   You must feast your eyes on these babies!

So you’re here today as part of the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store design team July hop.   If you’ve arrived here from Deb Saaranen’s blog, then you’re in the right spot.   If not, I highly suggest that you start back on Sharon Johnson’s blog to get the instructions on how you can enter to win our blog candy!   She will also have a picture of the candy being given away.

Our mission this month is to showcase the  Rubbersoul/Wordsworth stamps.   These are fairly new to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.   I am loving them!   I’ve used the new Poetry of the Earth set several times.   Today I am using the Rose Border set.

ssrs-july-hop-get-well-soon-blog-copy.jpg

I have a little tip to share with you all.   You know the big flourish of pearls that people are using on cards, etc?   You can make your own!   The Kaisercraft pearls that Sharon carries come in a variety of sizes on each card.   It takes a minute to get them placed, but you can create whatever type flourish and whatever size you wish!

The roses in my vase are popped on dimensionals to add a little interest.

Here are my deets:

Stamps: Wordsworth Rose Border

Colors: Apricot Appeal, GP White, Basic Black, Websters Pages  Lullaby Lane and Life’s Portrait paper pack

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: 1″ white satin ribbon, Kaisercraft 1/2 pearls, stickles, dimensionals, Bow easy

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Now I send you off to Linda Duke’s blog.   I am certain she has something fabulous to share!  And in case you get lost along the way, here is a list of all the blogs involved:
