dream-a-new-dream-blog-hop-challenge.jpg

Hi Friends!

Welcome to day #2 of the There She Goes August release sneak peeks.   If you’ve arrived here from Heather’s blog, then you are in the right spot.  If not, you may wish to start back on the There She Goes blog to get information on how you can win a copy of this set!

Since I am a bit behind the eight ball with my samples for this release, I have two to share today.   First, the sneak peek for today is from the Chris Dark illustrated Dream A New Dream set.   Soothing floral images, awesome sentiments and a feathered friend…. what more could you ask for in a set?!

You might note that I went a bit simple with my cards today.   Every now and again I challenge myself to do that and it’s hard!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ Dream a New Dream

Colors:  More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Graphic 45 dp

Ink: Tim Holtz distressing ink, copics

Accessories: label nesties, sponge, 1/2 pearls, 7/8″ chocolate grosgrain, eyelet border punch

And I also did one from yesterday’s Angel Mail set.   Remember, this is a Stamp for a Cause set.  For each set sold, $4 will be donated to Chemo Angels!

I found a website online that has sheet music.   I saved a song to my computer as a jpg file and then manipulated it to just a strip.   I also muddied up the Old Olive base to give it an aged look.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ Angel Mail

Colors: Elegant Eggplant, GP White, Old Olive

Ink: Tim Holtz distressing Ink, copics

Accessories:  7/8″ deep purple grosgrain, 1/2 pearls, antiqued brads, dimensionals, heart nestie, sponge

Now it’s time to scoot you off to Jessica’s blog.   Prepare to be amazed!  Thanks so much for stopping by.   Please come on back tomorrow and I’ll have more to share!

Hugs!

Holly

Such lovely cards Holly – the first one made me laugh though – if a family is a circle of strength, mine must be a scatterplot because we are SO dysfunctional, LOL! I love the rustic, autumnish (yep, just made it up) feel of both of your cards.
