Welcome, Friends!

Well, it’s day #3 of the new release sneak peeks.   As usual, I’ve had a blast working with these new images.   If you’ve arrived here from Heather’s blog, then you are spot on.  If not, you may wish to start back on the There She Goes blog so that you know just what to do to be eligible to win one of these great sets!

My friend, Theresa W, went to Jessica a while back asking for a school set.   Well our wonderfully talented illustrator, Torico, has come through with flying colors!  This little set is literally PACKED with adorable images and sentiments.

I had this cool designer paper that looks like bookshelves.   I have been wanting to use it on a card forever, and today it fit!   I love books, so this little girl reminds me of me when I was young.   I always had my nose in a book!

Here are my deets:

Stamps: There She Goes’ Believe in You

Colors: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, GP White, various dps

Ink: Tim Holtz distressing inks, copics

Accessories: striped grosgrain, deep red grosgrain, 1/2 pearls, label nesties, sponge, dimensionals

And since I’m still playing catch up from playing hookie on Tuesday, I am going to share a sample made from the Bit of Stardust set, too!

The top panel was punched with the ribbon threading punch (fiskars) twice ~ off setting the top punches from the bottom.  Then I threaded ribbon through the top and designer paper through the bottom.

Now it’s time to send you hopping on over to Jessica’s blog.   Give her a big hug while you’re there!   I hope to see you all on Saturday evening (28th) from 9-11pm EST for the release party chat!!   There will be prizes!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs!

That top card could be my daughter as she just loves to read 🙂 Love all the details you added and a lovely nestie for the sentiment. Second card is too cute!! That sentiment is simply amazing! Love the layers of scallops and the way your threaded your ribbon. Great work on both 😀

Oh Holly – these are terrific! I love all the brads on either side of the books card, and you cannot go wrong with bleck and red so red cardstock with it was the perfect combination. I love the floor you created too and the little books all over. Your baby card is very sweet too. I like the border punches and the threaded ribbon.
