~ Love is in the Air ~
January 21st, 2011 by Holly McMillen
Hello, friends!
Welcome to this week’s JustRite Challenge. There is a wonderful prize package being offered with a value of $100, partially sponsored by The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. All of the Stamp Simply girls are playing today and we hope you can play along with us and at the same time have a chance at winning a fun prize package. This week’s challenge is Love is in the Air, asking us to create a project reflecting love. Check out the full details and post your entries at the JustRite Blog.
You know I’m a bit of a rebel. When I saw the theme “Love is in the air”, of course my mind went to pinks and reds, etc. I will be using a lot of those colors over the next few weeks as I create valentines, so today I stuck my foot out of the box!
Love, to me, comes in many colors. Today it’s blue, green and purple! 🙂
I was thinking of my oldest son when I did this project. He has told me for many years that he loves cupcakes over regular cake. Even at 27 years old, the boy gets all excited when I make cupcakes!
Then I started thinking about presentation. If I were to give this little bit of love to someone, it needs a box. But it’s a pretty cupcake, don’t you think? So I didn’t want to hide it, I wanted to show it off….
