Hello Friends!

Welcome to day 2 of the There She Goes sneak peeks!   If you’ve arrived here from Danielle’s blog, then you are in the right spot!  If not, you will want to start back on the There She Goes blog in order to find out how YOU can win a copy of the sets we are previewing today.

The first set is a super trendy set that’s all about NOW.  Technology Bytes is packed with fun and punny images and sentiments that are with the times.

I immediately thought of teenage girls when I saw these images.   Although my boys are BIG texters, no one can hold a candle to a girl with a cell phone.   I took my inspiration for this card from a card made some time ago by Carolyn King.  I wanted to link it here, but I could no longer find the card.   It’s a tent card with the image attached to the inside of the card.  When you open it up, you still see the image :).

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ Technology Bytes

Colors: GP White, Melon Mamba, Only Orange, Summer Sun

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: 3/8″ striped grosgrain, rhinestones, scalloped rectangle nesties, glossy glaze, dimensionals, sticky tape

Our second set is a gorgeous set by Chris Dark.

This gorgeous floral set called simply TULIP is a must have.   The long stem flower is so elegantly drawn.

For this card, I kept the layout pretty simple so that the flower could speak for itself.   I used just a bit of texture on the green panel and added some distressing ink to make it pop.  I also used an xacto knife to cut one of the leaves partially and placed a small piece of dimensional under it, just for interest

Here are my deets:

Stamps: There She Goes’ Tulip by Chris Dark

Colors: GP White, Kiwi Kiss, Cloud 9 dps, unknown brown woodgrain dp

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Tim Holtz’ distressing Ink (tea bag)

Accessories: yellow/green embroidery floss, scalloped rectangle nestabilities, text embossing folder, dimensionals, hole punch, button, sticky tape

Now it’s time to go on over to Iwona’s blog.   I’ll bet she has something amazing to share!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs!

What a neat idea on that first card… love how it’s cut out so you see the phone on the inside, too. And as the mother of two teenage girls, I know exactly what you’re talking about when it comes to texting! LOL

Beautiful tulip card, too! I love that you kept it white… it’s so elegant!
