Hi friends!

We’ve spent so much time outside this weekend that I am now fully exhausted and hope that I will sleep well tonight!   We put a fresh coat of paint on the front porch.  We repainted an old rocking chair and bench that were left here when we moved in.   We purchased planter boxes and painted them.   I still have to paint flowers on the rocker and the planter boxes, but when I’m finished, the front of the house is going to look so nice!!   Oh, and the new tomato plants are purchased.  We just have to wait for a couple weeks before we put them in the ground.

So I’m posting this a bit early tonight as I don’t believe this body will make it to midnight and I need to link up to the There She Goes challenge post.   Our challenge this week is brought to us by Marisa Ritzen (Rosemary Reflections).  We are to use vellum in our card/project.

I stamped the hot air balloon on regular white cardstock first and colored it.  Then I stamped it again on the vellum and did an overlay.   When I cut out the vellum balloon, I left a little tab at the top and bottom and used that to attach it to the back of the plain colored balloon.

Here are my deets:

Stamps: There She Goes’ Aim for the Clouds

Colors: GP White, Old Olive, Only Orange, Elegant Eggplant, DCWV dp, old retired SU dp

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, copics

Accessories: orange dotted satin ribbon with organza trim, purple rhinestones, purple brads, vellum, circle nesties, swiss dots embossing folder, stick tape, dimensionals, hole punch, corner rounder

Thanks for stopping by!   If you get a change, stop over to the There She Goes blog and play along (TSG102).

Hugs!

Love how you used the vellum on the balloon and on the sentiment panel. Great ribbon detailing too :)
