Hi Ya’ll

It’s been a heck of a week!  I’m thankful that here at the end of it I am feeling much better and my creative mojo is once again flowing.   We’ve also had hot, humid (relative to Colorado) and wet weather for about 10 days now.  Although we’re still expecting some t-storms and wind, the worst of it is past.

Quite a few good things have been happening, too.   My boys are pushing forward in their lives.  One is registered for school in the fall.  One just got a new, better paying, job.   Another just got a full time job to keep him busy for awhile and the last one is volunteering at our local hospital.   I am one proud mama!

So today I picked a couple challenges to play.  First, this week’s CASE study (CSC48) and also the Free 4 All challenge over on SCS (Twine).

Here’s my creation:

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  LaBlanche Blooming Rose, Verve Plane Jane 1 Corinthians 15:57 (both from Stamp Simply Store)

Large script background stamp (unknown ~ really old)

Colors: GP White, Basic Black, Kraft

Ink:  Tim Holtz’ Antique Photo distressing Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories: Cotton Candy/White Divine Twine, Jute, hole punch, prisma watercolor pencils, water pen, Fairytale Roses by Prima, dimensionals, sticky tape

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Oooh, gorgeous card, Holly! Love the Stitching down the side. You should be a proud mama 🙂 Well done to all your boys. I’ve had a proud mommy moment this week too. We just finished VBS (can you say tired mommy LOL!) and nothing gave me greater joy that to see my two kids volunteering to work there. They are only 10 and 12 but to see them giving back and serving brought me some special mommy memories to treasure in my heart 🙂 We are all exhausted so it’s going to be a nice mellow afternoon LOL!
