Hi Friends!

Let’s get right to the fun stuff, ok?   Last Saturday, the Stamp Simply Design Team did a product focus on velvet.   Each of us also  offered up the cards we made as a gift to one of our commenters.   I am happy to announce that Carla Suto (comment #9) is the winner of my card!

I also have a card to share today 🙂

I recently received these amazing Pink Paislee Phantom papers from Sharon and I am totally in love!  They work perfectly for Halloween cards, but they are definitely usable for other types of cards as well.  Gorgeous ornate patterns and beautiful greens, blacks and pumpkin colors are just what I needed to be inspired for this card.

Here are my details:

Stamps:  JustRite Stampers’ Happy Everything Tag Making Kit

Papers: GP White, Only Orange, Basic Black, Pink Paislee Phantom dp

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, white gel pen, black sharpie

Accessories: Satin String Leaves, 1/2 pearls (colored orange with copics), EK Success lattice punch, circle nestie, dimensionals, sticky tape

Here’s a little close up:

The face was drawn on and highlighted with white gel pen.

Now for the black cats!

We have a new family member…

Meet Samson!  He is 8 weeks old and weighs about … nothing.  He bounces and runs and plays at all hours of the day and night.   I had forgotten what it’s like to have such a little one in the house, but we’re having a blast with him.   He loves to lay on my chest and purr himself to sleep.   He’s pretty much got the entire house wrapped around his little paw already.   Funny how that works, huh?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs!

That’s one mean looking pumpkin!! Love the kitty picture. Love the white whiskers against the black body. Give him a snuggle for me.
