Happy Saturday, Friends!

This week we’re focusing on tags.  I love tags.  They dress up a package so nicely or can be put on the front of a card!  I do, however, find it difficult to work on such a small canvas.   I am getting better at it, though 🙂

If you’ve arrived here from Barb Schram’s blog, then you’re in the right spot.  If not, I suggest you start back on Sharon Johnson’s blog so you can find out how to get into the drawing for the gorgeous pin cushion and ribbon sampler shown in the picture above (the spool of ribbon underneath the pin cushion is not part of the candy).

I intended to make several of these elegant tags, but the day didn’t cooperate with me.  I will definitely be making more!

I added the “To…From” to the back:

I thought it might be helpful to give you a visual of what stamps I used since they came from three different JustRite sets:

First I stamped the image from the Fleur de lis set and embossed it in white on Garden green cardstock.  Then I die cut that with the Label Twenty dies.  I then stamped the circle frame image from Deck the Halls and embossed it in white on Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  Then I die cut that with a circle nestie.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Deck the Halls in Garden Green ink and punched it out with a small oval punch.  The back was simple stamped on a Label Twenty die cut and centered.  I used the light green/white and red/white twine and created a small tassel and finally I colored some Melissa Frances 1/2 pearls with my lipstick red copic and applied.  Done!  Super easy!!

Here are my details:

Stamps: JustRite Stampers’ Fleur de lis Label Twenty set, JustRite Stampers Winter Words set, JustRite Stampers’ Deck the Halls set

Paper: GP White, Garden Green, Cherry cobbler

Ink: Versamark

Accessories: Divine Twine in cherry/white and apple green/whiteMelissa Frances cream 1/2 pearls, white embossing powder, dimensionals, circle punch, hole punch, Label Twenty Nestabilities, circle nestabilities, oval punch, Aleene’s tacky glue.
