~ A Snowy Christmas ~

Hi Friends!

As of today, we have more snow for this season (and it’s not even Winter yet!) than we did all last winter.  While some would not like that statistic, I’m loving it.   Of course, I rarely have to drive in it.   I do love the blanket of white that sparkles in my yard.   I love how the tree branches are each covered with their own little winter coat.

Today’s Featured Stamper over on Splitcoaststampers.com is Linda Anderson (Studbo).  I chose THIS card of Linda’s to CASE.

Here’s what I came up with:

Sharon has started carrying Stampavie clear stamps in her store and this little guy and his puppies just melts my heart!

I changed colors (dp), image, and orientation of the base fold for this card.   I kept her layout, except I kept the embellishments off the bottom horizontal panel and I put my sentiment on the base itself.

Here are my details:

Stamps:  Stampavie’s Alex in the snow with puppies, JustRite Stampers Deck the Halls (sentiment)

Papers: Creamy Caramel, Always Artichoke, Riding Hood Red, GP White, Bo Bunny Father Christmas

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Always Artichoke, Riding Hood Red, Tim Holtz distressing Inks, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: Prima Avon Roses – North Country collection, puff paint, sponges, faux stitching with sewing machine, dimensionals, sticky tape, 1/2″ circle punch, MS branch punch, MS snowflake punch, Aleene’s quick dry tacky glue, sticky tape

***Items highlighted have been provided by Stamps Simply Ribbon Store***

I have something very special to share with you now.   Once a month, I meet with a group of ladies who are so very special.   They are a great blessing to me.   Last time we met, one of the girls…. Kate… brought a box full of these amazing little creations with her…

I was so enamored with these “stars”.   It just boggles my mind how they’re made.   Kate has agreed to teach me how they are made some day.   Having a large degree of OCD in my background, the geometric  shape  of this little star just captures me completely.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,

Holly

Darling card and wonderfully coloured. Enjoy the white stuff for me 🙂 They say we are in for a cold winter, but said the same last year and all we got was rain for 6 months straight UGH!!

LOVE that star!!! What a fabulous ornament it would make. Has me trying to figure it out already. Hope you can share with us.

Love, love, love the star!!! If your friend had a class on making them, I would be first in line to sign up. Let me know if she would consider teaching a class.
    Merry Christmas!

Your coloring is ultra, ultra fantastic! I LOVE the Alex in the
Snow With Puppies stamp, it is too sweet. The star looks very intricate to me and I can’t wait until you share how it is done. Please excuse my assuming but I am pretty sure you would, lol. TFS.
