Over the last week, I’ve started eight projects.   I have had a serious case of short attention span.   The problem (NOT! ) is that there is so much inspiration out there and I  keep coming up with new ideas.

A while back I landed on Sankari Wegman’s blog ~ Sankari’s Sunshine Corner and my eyes fell upon this absolutely gorgeous blocks.   You MUST click on the link to her blog and take a look, but please come back! LOL

So a couple of weeks back, I asked my hubby to cut me three wood blocks measuring 2 1/2″ x 1 3/4″.   He beveled the front edges on each block.   Then I covered the blocks with designer paper and sanded them down.  It took me until this weekend to get back to the project, but here’s what I did:

While I was making this, I kept thinking I would gift it to my next door neighbor, but I’m having such a love affair with it, I’m not sure now…LOL… Yeah, ultimately I will give it to them.
