Hi Friends!

I’m back to the Saturday Ribbon Inspiration challenges :).   If you’ve arrived here from Deb Saaranen‘s Blog, then you’re in the right spot.  If not, I suggest that you start back on Sharon Johnson’s blog. This week we’re putting our focus on masculine cards.   I always feel a sense of great accomplishment when I can successfully create a masculine card.

Here’s what I’ve done today:

I have a house full of musicians, so I thought it would be great to come up with a quick and simple design for my notes to them.

I added a little surprise in the inside, too:

Here are my details:

Stamps:  JustRite Stampers’ Musical Notes Label Twenty set, JustRite Stampers’ Shabby Music Background

Colors: Chocolate Chip, My Mind’s Eye Paris & Co. dp

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: 1″ satin edge grosgrain ~ teal, 5/8″ double faced faux suede ~ brown, hardware, corner rounder, sticky tape, oval punch, hole punch, brayer.

Great masculine card! I need to make a birthday card for my son-in-law who is a wonderful musician – so, your card has provided some great inspiration. LOVE all the metal accents, too. I never would have thought to stamp a musical note and encase it in the metal frame like that. I always use those for sentiments. Thanks so much for sharing!
