~Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Store – All Strung Out~
May 5th, 2012 by Holly McMillen
Happy Saturday!
If it’s Saturday, then it must be time for another Ribbon Inspiration post! This week we’re sharing words of comfort. If you’ve arrived here from Sharon Johnson’s blog, then you’re in the right spot! I suggest you start back on Sharon Johnson’s blog in order to find out how you can be eligible for today’s blog prize. It is a mystery blog candy, meaning that the winner can be chosen from any of the blogs involved.
This week the Stamp Simply Ribbon crew is ALL STRUNG OUT!
Back when the whole twine craze started, I swore I was not going to go there. I mean, I have every known color of embroidery thread already, so what did I need twine for? It took me all of a minute to cave! Now I reach for my twine quite frequently!
Here’s my offering today:
Here are my details:

What a great card! I bought some of this twine too but thought it would be a nice accent for tying a different type of bow. You’ve taken it to a whole new level! Very nice . 🙂 Thanks for the idea and inspiration!

Hi Holly, oh my gosh this is stunning, I love love your use of twine. Joey x
Very unique way to use string.
What a cute card! I too love twine and I had to smile a little about your comment that at first you didn’t see the need for twine. The first time I ever saw it was on a DoD site and it was selling like hotcakes and even selling out! I was perplexed as to why, since the only use I’d ever had for twine was trussing a chicken! LOL!
Wow what a different usage of string! Great idea and beautiful card!
This is incredible. I’m heading straight to my craft room to try this! Well done.
Wow How fun!! What a great colorful way to use the string and make a spring card! I too have most of the embroidery floss colors and stop myself from jumping into twine/string thinking I should use the floss, but this twine is just so cool and so much easier to use! : )
WOW! That’s one cool, creative and inspirational piece of artwork! Love it, love it!
