~ A Fall Birthday ~
September 20th, 2015 by Holly McMillen
I’ll say it. I can’t wait for Fall. I’ve always loved the cool crisp mornings and mild days. Of course, where we are
a snow fall or two are not out of the question. It’s already snowed in the high country (above 12,000 feet).
One of my favorite things about Fall is the warm colors found in nature. The yellows, reds, oranges brightening up the
Fall foliage. Then there’s the pumpkins and bales of hay. And sweaters. I love sweaters. The crafts I’m drawn to
this time of year include leaves, twine and kraft paper.
I made this birthday card for someone special (shhhh!)…. just hope I can get it to her in time! ha!
I used the following:
Stamp Simply Clear Stamps set Birthday Blessings
Simple Stories Say Cheese
Navy, Cherry, Mustard, GP White
Ink:
Memento Tuxedo Black, copics
Baker’s Twine in Blue, Red and Yellow
Kaisercraft rhinestones Blue, Red and Yellow/Gold
Balloons are hand drawn.
