~ Moonbeam Meadow and a Happy Anniversary ~
May 28th, 2016 by Holly McMillen
Well here we are. Thirty four years from the day I married my best friend. It really baffles me that it doesn’t feel so long even though we raised four fine sons, moved a dozen times and have fought many demons. We’re still here. I guess like a lot of people, I imagined us sitting in our rocking chairs on the front porch waiving at passing neighbors while grandbabies played in the yard. Well the reality is two rocking recliners in front of a big screen TV, and each of us with out creative space… mine a pretty sweet studio and him with his man cave garage. But the key is, when the evening wanes on, we always end up side by side in the rocking recliners, watching our favorite shows…sometimes with our eyes closed and one of us snoring over the TV. Ahhh, it’s the life.
This is the card I made for his anniversary card. The inside is filled with mushy sentiment 🙂

Spectrum Noir Markers: IB2, IB3, LY3, TN2, TN3, TN4, DG2, DG3, BG1, IG1
