~ Pop Up Box Card ~

Pop Up Box card open

Greetings!

Our oldest son is turning 33 in a couple days.  For some reason it has me all twisted up.  I was barely 20 when I had him.  Now as he gets into his 30s, I’ve started ruminating on my own age.  I definitely don’t feel my age and I certainly don’t act it! Ha!   I could get over it if he and my daughter-in-love would make me a grandma.  Nah, I still won’t act my age!

This week I made Lori Whitlock’s Pop Up Box Card.  For her tutorial, click on her name.

I really enjoyed putting this together, but after the fact, I would change a few things.  Mostly my own lack of planning.  When my card is closed, you have sentiment on top of sentiment.  No bueno.

Gorgeous, Holly! My oldest is heading off to university (I was significantly older than you when I started having kids LOL) and I am in mommy denial. Funny how when they turn a certain age all of a sudden you have to add that age to yours and realize how much older you are LOL! But, like you, don’t act my age – hubby says I am the biggest kid in the house – yup 🙂
