~ Cosmic Thoughts ~
June 19th, 2017 by Holly McMillen
It occurs to me that as I get older, the number of sympathy and get well cards outpaces birthday cards. Not cool.
I’ve always been fascinated with the stars. I would spend hours as a young girl staring at the stars and learning the constellations. I will see the Northern Lights sometime before I die. I don’t have a specific bucket list, but if I did, that would be in the top five.
This week I’m keeping so many people in my prayers. It seems like that is my current status more and more, too.

The craft paper with a little distressing looks a lot like leather. I inked direct to paper with the Altenew ink cubes. I used Northern Lights colors. Using a white gel pen, I created constellations on the piece. The sentiment is stamped lightly to create a watermark look.
