~National Coffee Day Blog Hop~
September 29th, 2018 by Holly McMillen
Coffee.
Can we all agree that this liquid gold is the glue that holds a great deal of us together.
If you google “National Coffee Day”, you’ll find many different offers from your favorite coffee chains. Free coffee?! Yes, please. Keep that word “Free” in mind for a bit later.
My card today is what I call a scrap card. Everything except the base layer (patterned paper) and the punch out scalloped layers, were made from scraps. When I cut a piece of PP, I tuck the decent size scraps into the paper pad. I’ve made numerous cards this way.
~*~*~
Now, I realize that coffee doesn’t have a tea bag, but I thought the little tag was cute, so I’m taking poetic license here, today! Ha!

Such a beautiful card using a lovely stamp set. Thanks for sharing your wonderful inspiration in this super fun blog hop.
Beautiful card! I love the cup die cut! Lovely color combo and papers!
What a gorgeous card! I love all the scallops and lacy feel! I am sooo much like you and I too like to use my scraps first before digging into anything else! Why waste them! Too expensive! I was hit head on by a drunk driver 7 years ago and supplies are few and far between for me so I have to be VERY frugal with mine. I make cards and scrapbook to ease my pain and to keep my mind occupied and if I just used a new piece of cardstock for everything I did I would be out of “business” real quick ! LOL Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us! Keep up your lovely work! I really enjoyed it!
opps sorry forgot [email protected]! I was too busy gabbing away! hahaha
What a lovely card! Beautiful layers and combination of patterned papers.
This card is so sweet, thank you for sharing.
Enjoy your day xx
Charming cup, love the pattern paper mixes!
Such a beautiful design! I love using scraps too – my creative process often starts with the scraps I have on my desk, then I build my design around that 🙂 When my scraps get too small to store with the main papers, I toss them into ziplock bags by colour, so I can “dumpster dive” into my scraps and find just the right piece for the job at hand.
I love AHug in a Cup! So creative.
Wow! Your card is amazing!! I love the patterned paper, the beautiful design, layers and those cute hearts 🙂 And the tea bag is cute for the coffee too! 🙂 Totally in love with your card! I can be contacted at [email protected] if I win, thank you for the giveaway 🙂
