Mother’s Day has been an emotional one for the last 27 years.  That’s when I lost my own mom.  My Mother-in-Law passed in 2014.  For the last 5 years, I’ve just not wanted to make Mother’s Day cards.

Then last year, it all changed.  Two of my daughter in laws gave us granddaughters, so now making Mother’s Day cards is back on the table. Literally.

I did struggle a bit with what to do, but I shouldn’t.  I took a look back (way back!) into my own portfolio and found one of the oldest cards I have ever made and it was a simplified version of today’s card.

I left a comment earlier but it must have been lost. Would you please give directions for your cone? I love this card.
